 Unter dem wohlklingenden Namen „Passivhaus Design Solutions Ltd.“, kurz PDS hat sich in London/Großbritannien eine Gruppe von Experten unter der Führung von Roland Matzig (r-m-p-architekten) gegründet um den Passivhausstandard auch dem Königreich zugänglich zu machen.Obwohl der Immobilienmarkt in Großbritannien zur Zeit in einer rezessiven Krise steckt, gibt es Visionäre, die das Nischenprodukt „Passivhaus“ etablieren wollen. Zur Zeit gibt es auf der britischen Insel noch fast keine Erfahrungen mit dem Passivhausstandard. Gleichzeitig hat die Regierung ein ernsthaftes Ziel zur Reduzierung der CO2- Emissionen formuliert, das nur mit der schnellen Einführung des Passivhausstandards möglich sein wird. PDS Ltd. entspricht mit seinem Leistungsangebot genau den derzeitigen Forderungen der Regierung und stellt Investoren und Bauwilligen alle planerischen Dienstleistungen zur Erreichung des Passivhausstandards zur Verfügung. Although the housing market in England is currently in a recessionary crisis, there are still visionaries who wish to establish the niche product of the "Passivhaus". At the moment there is almost no experience on the British Isles regarding the Passivhaus standard. At the same time the Government has set an aggressive target for the reduction of CO2 emissions which will only be met through the speedy introduction of the Passivhaus standard. The service offering of PDS Ltd. meets the challenge of governmental regulation and provides investors and developers with all services necessary to reach the Passivhaus standard. At any one time there are 10 to 15 architects engaged as part of the design group with a further 10 external engineers carrying out calculations and working on technical details who make up the team. All architects employed by r-m-p are certified Passivhaus Designers. The practice have undertaken a full range of projects including new design and Renovations, covering family dwellings, housing estates, kindergartens, offices, schools, hotels and Fitness Centres. Over 1500 Projects have been completed by the practice since foundation. In 1998 the first Passivhaus was planned by r-m-p and since 2003 all projects have been developed following Passivhaus principals and achieve the Passivhaus standard. All completed projects (over 50 to date) are certified by the Passivhaus Institute in Darmstadt/Germany. r-m-p currently has 50 projects on site and a further 30 commissioned and at various stages of the design process. The largest project is a 10,000 m2 school in Luxemburg. r-m-p has the most completed certified Passivhaus in the world. |
